Discover the premium Gin that Celebrates everything about the Côte d’Azur Lifestyle – Le Cap Soiree

Did you know the Côte d’Azur is acclaimed for it’s timeless glamour with over 300 days of sunshine a year which boast the most iconic coastlines in the world. It makes me think of Hotel du Cap Eden Roc. Imagine this – where you can plunge into the spirit of the French Riviera through the taste of Cap Gin.

As far as I know, Cap Gin is made on the shores of the Mediterranean and the spirit of the Côte d’Azur reflects that of the glamorous stylish lifestyles lived in Cannes, Nice to Monaco.

Since lockdown happened in Britain amid the Covid 19 pandemic people are still reluctant to make vacation plans as only most recently restrictions are slowly being lifted with the opening of some hotels, bars and restaurants. I’d like to hear you’re thoughts on this or are you still in favor of entertaining at home to feel safe until this situation settles a bit.

CAP Gin Le Esprit de la Côte France

Although I’m still hesitant for making social plans, I support staying in and drinking can still be fun with great company with sumptuous cocktails to get you into the summer party spirit. I thought this period was very unusual to spend time at home with all major sporting events to music festivals cancelled it seems vacations abroad are nonexistent. So why not bring the Cote d’Azur Lifestyle to me instead.

This week I’m discovering and getting to know Cap Gin from the South of France that features botanicals inspired by the French Riviera with mimosa flowers, rose, and orange blossom sourced from the Provence region. Just for you guys at home, let’s get to know the Gin together and tell you what makes this brand new spirit so distinctly remarkable in taste. For me it does have the wow factor that appeals to Gin lovers alike. When the sample of the Cap Gin arrived the other day, I’m so very delighted to tell you more about it. So here’s what I was able to find out so far. Cap Gin is distilled and produced at the distillerie de Terres Rouge, Turrene in France to create the most classic and timeless cocktails

Cap Gin, the unique premium spirit from the Côte d’Azur has made it’s debut in The Spirits Business Gin Masters 2020, being awarded two gold medals.

Best Gin

It’s no surprise that in it’s first year of entering the awards, the Gin won across multiple categories. Experts judges on the panel have portrayed it as floral and luxurious applauding Cap Gin as the ‘IT’ drink this summer winning gold in both the premium and London Dry Categories shows its distinction for exclusivity.

Curious and what to know what’s in it? If you love the fresh feeling of summer then this ones defiantly up your street if you love all things citrusy. Throughout history citrus has formed an integral part of the Côte d’Azur from the prestige of Menton Lemon to Fleur d’Oranger used in the perfumeries of Grasse. Cap Gin contains all of these botanicals, fruit, spices, and herbs to create flavour that is derived from this iconic region. You’ll notice the flavorsome of coriander and juniper mixed just right with natural scents found here to create this premium French Gin.

Just a bit of background into CAP Gin which was created by it’s co founder’s Andrew Campbell, James Auld, Adam Payne three friends to embody the rich culture and diverse heritage of its residents with homage to the spirit of the Côte d’Azur. The port town of Antibes can considered as a major influence with its significance of historical culture to the alluring glitterati nightlife scene.

Even the bottle reflects the clear coastal waters of the Mediterranean brought to life as the go to lifestyle brand. When tasting the gin for yourself it gives you that feeling of being there in the moment or aspire to want to go there is the idea to sell you the Côte d’Azur lifestyle in a bottle. I do love the gin’s uniquely distilled floral finished with a delicate blend of citrus is lightly refreshing to portray the lifestyle of the South of France . I can’t imagine anything more perfect than to unwind this weekend with the refreshing taste of Cap Gin.

Cap Gin can be distinguished as classic, refined and satisfyingly refreshing – enjoy a taste of the French Riviera. Welcome to the Côte d’Azur with luxury and indulgence around every corner.

For now, we wait patiently for the end of confinement, but now instead let’s live for the weekend shall we? As we continue to live behind closed doors, but hopefully not for much longer there is elegance and style in abundance on the Côte d’Azur. So cheers, jump into the weekend with a home made Cap Gin & Tonic, Negroni’s to French 75 cocktails and make some new memories with Cap Gin.

As we wait to see what life will be like in the future. Let’s dream about the things we miss and what we will do when we are able to do so once more. Things to do in Algarve

Portimao a beautiful scenic fishing town situated in the Southern Algarve region of Portugal is most famous for its local Arts & Crafts culture. It boasts the most pristine beaches, hotels, shopping, and cosmopolitan nightlife scene including an array of exquisite restaurants and bars.

The Best of Algarve’s Scenic Southern Coast

On the day I set off to Portugal I was very excited, despite the 6 am flight departure time from London Gatwick to Faro Airport I just could not wait to get there and enjoy the trip. My itinerary was well organised by the brand rep who handled the Beach Club’s PR so we knew it was going to be an enjoyable experience and find out more about what this exclusive destination had to offer international tourism in Portugal.

It boasts the most pristine beaches, hotels, shopping, and cosmopolitan nightlife scene including an array of exquisite restaurants and bars.

The Algarve’s impressive International Racetrack ensures an upscale and sophisticated city break similar to its Monaco counterpart bringing you the full Grand Prix Extravaganza experience. But, there’s so much more if you’re curious to find out and explore the wonders of the Algarve. Why not be amongst the first to join the jet set by putting Portimao on the map. It’s tipped to be the most Stylish destination of this summer competing with Ibiza, Mykonos and Montenegro.

Things to do in Algarve

Here are my suggestions for how to get there, things to do and where to go.

Portimao Airport is a regional private jet airport located in Faro. The option of traveling in style is also available where you can book your own private flight through a variety of Private Jet Operators to and from Portugal’s Southern Algarve. Alternatively, Easy Jet Fly’s to and from selected UK Airports frequently with competitive airfares into Faro Airport.

The brainchild of investor Maximillian White, Blanco Beach Club is the latest entertainment and experience driven venue to hit the shores of Portimao. If you’re seeking a lavish Hedonistic destination it’s a haven in paradise where white sandy beaches sit next to the idyllic turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Furthermore, the sumptuous sunken beach beds to the 5 star Mediterranean fusion restaurant offers the culinary delights of fresh sea food and sushi. If you fancy partying the the night away at the open air nightclub its open till late.

Blanco Beach Club is playing host to some of the biggest music artist and DJ’s in the music industry including Tyga and French Montana.

The Food and Drinks Menu here is excellent from the presentation of it’s food platters of sushi selection of sashimi, nigiri, California roll,  yellow tail and sea food with favorites freshly prepared by a specialist Sushi chef from Lisbon ex Nobu. Not forgetting the hospitality here is exceptional from its customer service to it’s well presented staff and friendly atmosphere. Sip on sumptuous cocktails from the restaurant menu and relax to summer soundtrack of deep house for a lazy afternoon before the sun goes down.

I really enjoyed the live PA set by Tori Lanez one evening upon my visit when the whole of the Beach Club transforms into a full service nightclub hosting the best exclusive DJ sets and music performances from acclaimed international Artist.

Please take a moment to admire the exclusive Beach Club’s venue and facilities situated on the Praia de Rocha Beach in Portimao’s newest addition to the Southern Algarve. THE BEST LUXURY VILLAS IN MARRAKECH

Before coming to Morocco I’ve always been intrigued by its charm, beauty and splendor, so when the chance came I stumbled upon a dear friend’s Wedding Invitation I just couldn’t turn down the opportunity for a long weekend. It was here I discovered the Dar JL Luxury Villa’s and it’s accommodations and private grounds were just breathtaking – take a moment to admire its surroundings and scenery’s. The garden is beautiful but sometimes it’s a real treat to take time out to rest inside one of the villas. Or why not a have private lunch in the Olive Garden Grove which is where my friend had her Wedding Ceremony.

I recall it being 37 degrees one afternoon so took a swim in one of the swimming pools which had a reflection of the olive tree in it. I’ll never forget that night of the Wedding reception the enchanting magic of the atmosphere lots of candlelight and lanterns were truly an unforgettable experience.

Dar JL Villa La Tour which enables you to view the snowy Atlas Mountains in awe

Here’s a thought its day two of the Wedding, early morning swim or enjoy a hammam in their luxury wellness suites are divine. Either or, both experiences will make a well afternoon spent just for two as Dar JL has lots of secret places to explore in the garden. After a sunny day, it was time for our tea in the berber tent before getting into the evening mood.

There is so much beauty and colour around you where you will notice the yellow cactus flowers really blend into the garden too. Care for some more Mint Tea before continuing a few steps up of the Dar JL Villa La Tour which enables you to view the snowy Atlas Mountains in awe. Also, entertainment included a late night movie in open wow what an experience I tell you it was under the stars and candle light.

I think the best moment for me is that each night during you’re stay you can find a new place in the garden to have your dinner and new places to hang out in discreet hideaways amongst the tiles and arches. INSIDE BROCKET HALL A QUINTESSENTIALLY ENGLISH STATELY HOME – DAY TRIP TO P1 SUPERCAR CLUB SHOW

THE FIRST AND LEADING SUPERCAR CLUB IN THE WORLD

A while ago now I took a Day Trip to Hertfordshire outside of London to Welwyn Garden City to visit Country Estate Brocket Hall to see the P1 International Supper Car Club for their luxury Car Show. One weekend me and friend decided to head out of London and explore the home counties as well as look at some of the cool sports cars on show at the event we attended.

One Saturday morning we got the train from Kings Cross to Hertfordhire which was about a 40 minute journey to the event and we managed to arrive just before lunch time and make the day of it exploring the scenic views within the Brocket Hall Estate during the car show.

So, here’s a bit about the car show – P1 International is The Worlds First and Leading Supercar Club founded in 2001 by founder and CEO Michael Breen, P1 pioneered the concept of a private members club offering share access to a fleet of supercars  defining the luxury car rental market. P1 have seventeen years experience in refining the concept as well as continuing to offer it’s discerning members an unrivalled experience with access to a stable of the finest and fatest supercars from Ferrari to Maserati and more.

So, here’s what you get. In return for annual membership the club takes care of the cost of depreciation, insurance, servicing and maintenance, leaving the members free to enjoy the cars and the club without the inconvenience and cost of ownership.

Just being here at Brocket Hall in the presence of the magnificent super sports cars reminded me of watching TopGear on television but in reality I got to actually sit inside my dream bucket list of sports car and admire their interiors but at the same time appreciate fine craftsmanship of their engines and aesthetics for real.

We enjoyed a lovely Champagne reception and canapés in the most elegant surroundings of a beautiful Country Estate

Upon arrival to Brocket Hall we enjoyed a lovely Champagne reception and canapés in the most elegant surroundings of beautiful country estate that’s named after the Brocket Family through many generations. So just thought I’d mention a bit of history about the building’s lavish Estate and Acres of land which host a golf course driving range too if you love spot of golf just like me.

The best part of it was driving around the grounds in a golf cart so we could admire the scenery surrounding the estate which was a lot of fun in the sunshine late afternoon before making our way back to London.

Visit England’s Finest Golf, Dining & Residential Country Estate.

It was such a thrill  to find out more about the luxury super car rental market and even more so explore the range of Super Cars from Vintage Classics to Modern and Contemporary motor cars and see how the other half live. A day out like this to experience real luxury at it’s finest had to be the highlight of my visit upon visiting Brocket Hall Country Estate.

PREVIEWING THE NEW BELSTAFF TRAVELOGUE S/S 2020 COLLECTION

SPRING SUMMER 2020 COLLECTION

By Posted on 0 Comments Location: 1min read1874 views

Today I went to preview the new Menswear and Womenswear collection during London Fashion Week Men’s over the weekend for Belstaff Spring Summer 2020 Travelogue in Hoxton Docks East London. I always rather look forward to each season because I admire the contemporary take on the brands history by Belstaff’s Creative Director Lehnhardt-Moore where he captures the imagination of the labels industrial heritage.

For this season the inspiration is drawn from the original archive where travel and exploring remain at the heart of the brands aesthetics hence the self title of the new collection Travelogue.

Belstaff

Fine details in the collection were kept contemporary with use of contrasts such as juxtaposing textures and colours between soft and hard where the contrast provide the essential look for a modern wardrobe.

Belstaff

Signatures pieces that inspired this seasons collection were the sleevless Castmaster cotton fishing jacket in orange from the archive in orange dry waxed cotton vs khaki version retains sleeves of the original and the XL500 Nautical Jacket from the nineteen seventies was re-imagined in Oxford Nylon.

Themes in the collection explore the influence of military is evident in the use of deep English rifle green and the newly introduced camo tech fabric.

Throughout the collection worn in looks are created with the use of slub yarns and pigment dyed fabrics for a vintage feel including pieces in dyed sahara cloth and cotton broadcloth create a military look.

Belstaff have catered to those who love to travel and explore with key looks such as a battered safari jacket is teamed with raw Ecru denim

With this in mind Belstaff have catered to those who love to travel and explore with key looks such as a battered safari jacket is teamed with raw Ecru denim, while new adventure print show line drawn illustrations applied to a rayon shirt for women and linen version for men.

Belstaff

I really liked the luxury fine knits and oiled suede polish up the look, contrast with sun faded pique shirts and sweatshirts for men and women.

Belstaff

Lastly, to finish off the look for the modern man and woman trooper boots in brown leather and canvas, along with a chukka boots with commando sole in suede and stonewashed cross body canvas bags with leather trims give edge to the collection this spring summer 2020 collection.
