It was a delightful evening one cold December but the party atmosphere was very inviting in the warmth and busy as one would expect during the Christmas Party season as I got to admire these exquisite shoes in the beautiful Dover Street boutique. I have always been curious how luxury shoes are made and the fine craftsmanship that goes into creating each style.
It was a pleasure to see the collection showcased at the event in an intimate setting which tempts me to want to covet a pair for my Christmas Wish-list – just a hint there for anyone wondering what to get for my birthday this month and Christmas present. I’ve always received two present’s with my birthday and Christmas being so close together but a pair of Jimmy Choo’s would be amazing don’t you think. But then again knowing me one pair may not be enough as I do love brand new shoes.
When’s it’s time to indulge in new shoes for that all important special occasion Jimmy Choo would be my first choice and I always say have a statement pair of shoes as you never know when that all important event may come up at short notice. With dressing request to the Star’s and Influencers Jimmy Choo shoes are the ideal companion for the Red Carpet without fail as the quality is so well made as the go to for luxury footwear and accessories every man should own to invest in.
It sure is worth the price tag, classic and they look amazing to wear from dressy in between to smart casual there is a style to suit all to make room in every discerning man’s contemporary wardrobe. So don’t be the last one to look sharp at the Christmas Party – be sure to always look exceptionally glamorous no matter the circumstances because trust me it’s worth it.
With Award’s Season just around the corner and fashion week it’s never too early to start thinking about it so it doesn’t hurt to plan ahead for upcoming event’s so don’t forget get to put an alert on your smart phone with so many shoe styles to choose from it must be you’re lucky day to spoil and indulge yourself.
Disclaimer: Thank you so much to Jimmy Choo London and Mark Hix for hosting an elegrant Christmas Cocktail Party. As always all opinions will be my own and I only choose to review brands I would use myself to provide honest feedback on products I love to wear.
A while ago now I took a Day Trip to Hertfordshire outside of London to Welwyn Garden City to visit Country Estate Brocket Hall to see the P1 International Supper Car Club for their luxury Car Show. One weekend me and friend decided to head out of London and explore the home counties as well as look at some of the cool sports cars on show at the event we attended.
One Saturday morning we got the train from Kings Cross to Hertfordhire which was about a 40 minute journey to the event and we managed to arrive just before lunch time and make the day of it exploring the scenic views within the Brocket Hall Estate during the car show.
So, here’s a bit about the car show – P1 International is The Worlds First and Leading Supercar Club founded in 2001 by founder and CEO Michael Breen, P1 pioneered the concept of a private members club offering share access to a fleet of supercars defining the luxury car rental market. P1 have seventeen years experience in refining the concept as well as continuing to offer it’s discerning members an unrivalled experience with access to a stable of the finest and fatest supercars from Ferrari to Maserati and more.

So, here’s what you get. In return for annual membership the club takes care of the cost of depreciation, insurance, servicing and maintenance, leaving the members free to enjoy the cars and the club without the inconvenience and cost of ownership.
Just being here at Brocket Hall in the presence of the magnificent super sports cars reminded me of watching TopGear on television but in reality I got to actually sit inside my dream bucket list of sports car and admire their interiors but at the same time appreciate fine craftsmanship of their engines and aesthetics for real.
We enjoyed a lovely Champagne reception and canapés in the most elegant surroundings of a beautiful Country Estate
Upon arrival to Brocket Hall we enjoyed a lovely Champagne reception and canapés in the most elegant surroundings of beautiful country estate that’s named after the Brocket Family through many generations. So just thought I’d mention a bit of history about the building’s lavish Estate and Acres of land which host a golf course driving range too if you love spot of golf just like me.
The best part of it was driving around the grounds in a golf cart so we could admire the scenery surrounding the estate which was a lot of fun in the sunshine late afternoon before making our way back to London.

It was such a thrill to find out more about the luxury super car rental market and even more so explore the range of Super Cars from Vintage Classics to Modern and Contemporary motor cars and see how the other half live. A day out like this to experience real luxury at it’s finest had to be the highlight of my visit upon visiting Brocket Hall Country Estate.

Today I went to preview the new Menswear and Womenswear collection during London Fashion Week Men over the weekend for Belstaff Spring Summer 2020 Travelogue in Hoxton Docks East London. I always rather look forward to each season because I admire the contemporary take on the brands history by Belstaff’s Creative Director Lehnhardt-Moore where he captures the imagination of the labels industrial heritage.
For this season the inspiration is drawn from the original archive where travel and exploring remain at the heart of the brands aesthetics hence the self title of the new collection Travelogue. New millenials like to travel as that saying ‘travel makes you richer’ we crave experiences that take us back to nature and thus Belstaff creates the ideal and functional range of fashion forward clothing and accessories for discerning clientele who demand effortless and versatile wardrobe built for contemporary life.
As busy working professionals our intent to have a closet that reflects a fast paced modern life should include perfect transition staples for work, leisure, travel; day to night concept is exactly what Belstaff have created. I felt there was a shift towards conscious and sustainable approach to clothing that will be functional with a purpose to remain beyond seasons.
The atmosphere for the showcase of the new collection at Hoxton Docks set the scene of taking me on a journey of discovering the off beaten track as I really did feel the setting was authentic of the industrial north of England since the labels founding in the 1920’s. You really did feel you were transported back in time observing your surroundings of the exposed brick work, metal struts and warehouse structures. As you enter the warehouse I noticed the space evoked a desert trip with vintage camping canvas, a large tent and cacti brought the collection to life.
Fine details in the collection were kept contemporary with use of contrasts such as juxtaposing textures and colours between soft and hard where the contrast provide the essential look for a modern wardrobe.
Signatures pieces that inspired this seasons collection were the sleevless Castmaster cotton fishing jacket in orange from the archive in orange dry waxed cotton vs khaki version retains sleeves of the original and the XL500 Nautical Jacket from the nineteen seventies was re-imagined in Oxford Nylon.
Themes in the collection explore the influence of military is evident in the use of deep English rifle green and the newly introduced camo tech fabric. I really liked the luxury fine knits and oiled suede polish up the look, contrast with sun faded pique shirts and sweatshirts for men and women.
Throughout the collection worn in looks are created with the use of slub yarns and pigment dyed fabrics for a vintage feel including pieces in dyed sahara cloth and cotton broadcloth create a military look. With this in mind Belstaff have catered to those who love to travel and explore with key looks such as a battered safari jacket is teamed with raw Ecru denim, while new adventure print show line drawn illustrations applied to a rayon shirt for women and linen version for men.
Lastly, to finish off the look for the modern man and woman trooper boots in brown leather and canvas, along with a chukka boots with commando sole in suede and stonewashed cross body canvas bags with leather trims give edge to the collection this spring summer 2020 collection.
Disclaimer: Many Thanks to Belstaff for inviting me to preview the new seasons collections and all opinions expressed will be my own

It seems buying Christmas gifts for the men in your life can prove challenging, but I’m here to help you decide on a gift that even you’re husband, dad or brother would really appreciate such as the unique and exclusive collection by Acqua di Parma.
For Christmas 2018 the brand has introduced their exclusive Home and Travel Collection in collaboration with the acclaimed British Artist Clym Evernden who worked with Fenwicks on their window displays and Stylist magazine.
Clym was commissioned to create Acqua di Parma’s new campaign for the Limited Edition Colonia Artist Collection to capture the essence of the sunny sophistication of Italy and liberated feeling that inspired his little yellow bird illustration. Acqua’s products are mostly unisex so the packaging reflects that and was created in mind to be neutral so the products are accessible for everyone.

New arrivals this season include a deodorant just recently added to the range which includes 32 fragrances in the whole collection so there’s allot of choice to impress even the most discerning gentlemen in your life.
As gift set’s seem to be the most popular choice this festive season I wanted to mention the ones which stood out for me which were the smart gifts as Clym limited edition hand wash and hand lotion, scented candles colonia x Clym and Essenza Intensa Pura x Clym gift sets come with 100 ml fragrance, gel deodorant and shower gel.
The Bespoke option gift box is available too where you can choose 3 or 4 products encased with a ribbon without tissue which in my opinion seems smarter in terms of presentation. It does not stop there so in fact it just gets even better where the personalisation of gifts this Christmas is pre-monogrammed on Hat boxes. By observing the packaging it has seasons greeting’s in four different languages Russian, Arabic, and Mandarin Chinese includes limited Edition products and colonia handwash.
So just to recap what’s on offer this Christmas it’s the Christmas gift sets x 4 Colonia, Intensa, Essena and Pura, to smart gift sets / home, Colonia Sandelo and bespoke gifting.
During my window shopping trip over the weekend I realised that the Blue Mediternia Collection is only exclusive to House of Fraiser which are citrus, aromatic, sweet scented and fruity distinguished by the names Mirto di Panrea, Aranci Di Capri, and Fico di Amalfi to recreate that feeling of being holiday once you get there.
For those of you interested in the history of the brand Acqua di Parma’s Colonia Classic fragrance is 102 years old which makes it a classic heritage brand to rival other designer fragrances on the market as the Award Winning Classic Fragrance at the GQ Grooming Awards 2017. This citrus aromatic scent is fresh and full of life that has bergamot where the woody smells of vetiver, lavender and lemon leave that long lasting impression of sophistication it’s just too good. Trust me on this one, as you’ll want to try all 6 in the range too from Colonia Assoluta, Colonia Intensa, Colonia Essensa, Colonia Club and Colonia Pura.
Interesting fact – Colonia represents the 1st 100 years of the past and Colonia Pura the 2nd 100 years in the present future. I could go on and on but as the main focus of this review is to tell you all about the Limited Edition Christmas Collection you’ll want to take home and own which you and your loved ones can share together. These days the popularity of catering to meet the demand for gender neutral products is especially common in both men and women’s fragrances which can also be considered unisex which is something you’ll both want to own together because it’s very special. So, I think that’s pretty much Christmas shopping sorted and various item’s I’ll add to my wish list then!

Disclaimer: A huge Thank you to LVMH HQ for gifting me with the Acqua di Parma Mediterania Fico di Amalfi Fragrance only exclusive to House of Fraiser.
