It was a delightful evening one cold December but the party atmosphere was very inviting in the warmth and busy as one would expect during the Christmas Party season as I got to admire these exquisite shoes in the beautiful Dover Street boutique. During the first day of our press trip my outfit for day one consisted being dressed in all monochrome which is usually my signature style day to day. In true Florentine style in homage to Pitti Uomo 97 I opted for a statement tailored winter coat made from the finest Italian fabric.
I felt I blended right in doing street style pictures to capture the moment being in Firenze. I needed to feel super comfy but still smart casual as most of the day was being spent on planes, buses, trains and taxis. But, just imagine lugging round a suitcase and my weekend bag between destinations. Honestly Italy is so full of culture, history and the local people are so warm and welcoming here for which I am so grateful.
Outfit dilema’s – I realised when I got there for the first time in my life I had under packed even though it was a short trip. Who’d have thought my blogger peers who are reading this will laugh at this. I’m known for bringing ten times the amount I need. I didn’t have a proper outfits planned for my daytime wears so I put this together last minute. I wanted something smart casual and slightly formal for evening dinner with of course a hint of classic oxford button down shirt from Polo Ralph Lauren paired with a All Saint’s Crew Neck Sweater.
I hadn’t packed enough clothes, so off Jen and I go on a little fashionista shopping trip to Gigli Shopping Mall down the road from our Hotel in a 10 minute taxi journey. I wore my comfy shoes again because I knew we would be walking around a lot! I opted for a faux suede Derby, Gibson bucks shoe by H & M which is a classic favourite.
From Pisa to Prato – here I’m wearing brands from the high street to designer which I also paired some skinny jeans and shoes with the outfit too. The first two photos are taken in Firenze Florence.
Art Hotel Museo in Prato – Such a beautiful place and I can’t thank them enough for putting us up here a couple of nights for the first part of our trip to experience local food, culture, wine and cuisine in Tuscany was a very unforgettable stay we loved it here very much.
Disclosure: #AD A huge special thanks to Art Hotel Museo Italy for kindly sponsoring our stay and for the amazing hospitality in Prato – this was a paid partnership collaboration with the hotel brand. Also I would like to Thank ryanair.com for sponsoring my return flights itinerary between Pisa, Milan and London during Camera Moda Milano Men’s Fashion Week and to both companies for making this trip possible. All Opinions Expressed will be my own and prices quoted in this article will be subject to change by the companies mentioned e.g. ryanair.com and Art Hotel Museo.

For Numero 00 Spring Summer 2020 Creative Director Valerio Farina explores the sensory journey of freedom, lightness, simplicity and natural elements to present this season’s collection. He wanted to portray a feeling of escapism from the stereotype of metropolis city life where he prefers a natural approach to living in favor of softness and purity which are reflected in the design of the garments distinguished by the light and fluid use of fabrics.
Organic pieces take centre stage to enhance fit and its silhouettes bringing them to life where the rich colour palettes influenced by nature and the five elements of the universe Ayurveda evoke water, air, fire and earth.
The designer hopes the sensory approach of returning to Mother Nature will inspire the wearer to connect emotionally with the pieces as an awakening of consciousness that connects them to the issues of an ideology for an eco sustainable world to make better informed choices.
Feel Natural, Freedom, Lightness are the destinations of the sensory journey, which has brought the designer Valerio Farina to the conceive of the collection for Numero 00 SS20
Looking closely at the collection these messages are embedded in the garments to feature conflicting artworks against the single use of plastic objects including the use of organic and recycled fabrics defining the feel natural theme of this collection.
The Colour palette used – blue celeste, rust colour, grey, white, sage green inspired from nature
I also noticed a trend of street wear dominating this seasons runway’s in Milan which was evident in the other collections presented during the men’s fashion week collections this summer.
The Designer exposes the desire of underdressing from the preconceptions and from the rules through garments distinguish themselves for the softness and purity

Creative Director Charles Jordan presented his label IH NOM UH NIT Paris at a private preview on the outskirts of Milan at Shambala with a Special guest Artist performance from U.S. Rapper Saint JHN it was just cool to see how street wear could take inspiration from other cultures including the Orient for the menswear collection that was unveiled yesterday during the catwalk show. Street style is one of the most key things that can influence and dictate trends so it’s always interesting to see how it differs from other fashion corners of the world.
Just getting ready to enjoy the weekend and the weather is looks great here in Milan. Here’s just an overview of my party outfit essentials for summer time and ways I like to dress up my favourite signature leather jacket with the most minimal details can make all the difference. If you feel like ditching your tailored jacket for an alternative staple for easy weekend wears go with a less structured look that feels relaxed and comfortable on the go during Milan fashion week Men. It can work wonders and create a whole new look even with the most basic casual separates that you match with a signature item is all you need to complete an outfit. My outfit choice was ideal to attend the IH NOM UT NIT Paris Spring Summer 2020 Show with special guest Artist Performance from US Rapper Saint JHN for an intimate secret gig at Shambala in Milan. It was a great pleasure to attend the preview of the new collection by Creative Director Chaz Jourdan and be part of this special event. It was so worth it traveling all the way from London just to be here and experience Fashion Week in Milan.

Today I went to preview the new Menswear and Womenswear collection during London Fashion Week Men over the weekend for Belstaff Spring Summer 2020 Travelogue in Hoxton Docks East London. I always rather look forward to each season because I admire the contemporary take on the brands history by Belstaff’s Creative Director Lehnhardt-Moore where he captures the imagination of the labels industrial heritage.
For this season the inspiration is drawn from the original archive where travel and exploring remain at the heart of the brands aesthetics hence the self title of the new collection Travelogue.
Fine details in the collection were kept contemporary with use of contrasts such as juxtaposing textures and colours between soft and hard where the contrast provide the essential look for a modern wardrobe.
Signatures pieces that inspired this seasons collection were the sleevless Castmaster cotton fishing jacket in orange from the archive in orange dry waxed cotton vs khaki version retains sleeves of the original and the XL500 Nautical Jacket from the nineteen seventies was re-imagined in Oxford Nylon.
Themes in the collection explore the influence of military is evident in the use of deep English rifle green and the newly introduced camo tech fabric.
Throughout the collection worn in looks are created with the use of slub yarns and pigment dyed fabrics for a vintage feel including pieces in dyed sahara cloth and cotton broadcloth create a military look.
Belstaff have catered to those who love to travel and explore with key looks such as a battered safari jacket is teamed with raw Ecru denim
With this in mind Belstaff have catered to those who love to travel and explore with key looks such as a battered safari jacket is teamed with raw Ecru denim, while new adventure print show line drawn illustrations applied to a rayon shirt for women and linen version for men.
I really liked the luxury fine knits and oiled suede polish up the look, contrast with sun faded pique shirts and sweatshirts for men and women.
Lastly, to finish off the look for the modern man and woman trooper boots in brown leather and canvas, along with a chukka boots with commando sole in suede and stonewashed cross body canvas bags with leather trims give edge to the collection this spring summer 2020 collection.

One of my favourite ways of dressing on a day to day basis is sometimes opting for a monochrome colour palette which seems to be my first choice as it creates a rather clean and minimal look don’t you think. On a Monday morning on days like today it appears to be a good day with the sunshine out in London town as I make my way to a meeting before lunch time. So, if you’re wondering how should you wear this attire in spring summer without it being too warm it comes down to the choice of fabrics that are light and breathable at the same time.
Fabrics such as linen on jackets seem to be appropriate in this weather as it will be getting rather warm in the next coming months. What I like about classic separates such as light cotton shirts or t-shirts you can team these with a jacket to slightly dress the look up or down depending on where you are going. I like this combination allot as it still looks rather relaxed and comfortable which is how it should feel in spring when its time to hang up your winter wardrobe till next season.
Fitted jeans or trousers can also create nice proportions to elongate or emphasis body shape which I find looks great in appearance and when I take random pictures of myself wearing my outfits. The key is knowing your body shape and making the most of whatever shape and size you are, because everyone is different and deserves to feel great in clothes. As they say black can be slimming, but not only that I have feeling the monochrome trend will be a hit this season with the newly anticipated Beverley Hills 90210 re-boot hits the small screen once again.
