I was invited to Kanishka Mayfair a renowned pan Indian cuisine restaurant for an afternoon lunch of culinary indulgence to sample their all-new menu.

Elegantly furnished throughout, this Indian restaurant and bar impressed us from the moment I arrived.
Every detail has been curated with discerning taste, and the detailed menu offers traditional dishes to suit a variety of tastes. With contemporary takes on Indian classics, the menu promises to deliver and impress with its finest selection of authentic cuisine.
I’ll definitely be coming back, so here are my personal recommendations to enjoy an all-authentic Indian cuisine experience. My highlights were the starters as we enjoyed sampling all the culinary delights with delicious flavours and portions are excellent too. A bit on the pricier side, but reflects the excellent service and cuisine so one to keep in mind for celebrating special occasions.

Main Courses – Currys & Biriyani
Ahuna Gosht Lamb Curry from the north east part of india, one of the traditional highlights of this restaurant which Atul Kochhar cooked for Chef James Martin on his Saturday show ✔️
Purani Dilli Ka Butter Chicken, a marination of charcoal chicken tikka with rich tomatoes sauce, finished with cream and butter on top – the dish was invented in the old part of Dehli. ✔
Black Dahl, another highlight of the restaurant known as the Black makhani from Kanishka

Check out my previous reel post for more details. For me the belini and negroni cocktails to the starters were the main highlights. Although the menu was slightly on the pricier end so definitely one to consider for special occasions.
